The still lifes of this series (twelve) were made for a bookproject in cooperation with michelin star restaurant ‘De Vlindertuin‘ in Drenthe, Netherlands. Each chapter of the book showed a month of the year with it’s special and local ingredients. Each image was the start of a chapter: depicting the particular month in it’s authentic name and the ingredient that can be found/bought/harvested then. I used symbolism and digital retouching for creating the right atmosphere.
